Absolutely perfect location; superfriendly and amiable staff. Based so close to other divine jams, lush greenery and the Dordogne.

We found everything good, would recommend it to anyone. The location was perfect and peaceful by lush greenery. Loved that it was set adjacent to the Chateau de Lalande, and Perigueux...

Will choose the place for future trips, totally recommend it to others. Thanks a lot for the really lovely stay for one night. Overall the room is spotless, huge and includes a private safe, central heating, and coffee and tea making equipment.

Incredibly beautiful building, beautiful and incredible location really close to the excellent restaurants, the Perigord and the various farmer's markets for fresh fruit and baguette and cafe au lait served in the sun. Also, in restaurant wonderful.

Beautifully renovated chateau with impeccable rooms and tasteful common areas. Lovely back garden and pool area for relaxing. Chef's menu in dining room is inventive and worthy of praise. Owners ensure a welcoming and delightful experience. Highly recommend.

A beautiful chateau run by a lovely couple who truly were very attentive and caring. A very pretty place to stay with well appointed, clean rooms and a wonderful breakfast. We had 2 teenage daughters with us that also loved their stay.

The friendliness and helpful attitude of the staff and the standard of cuisine, as well as the beautiful setting. Also, the room we stayed in was of generous proportions and very comfortable in terms of both temperature and the bed - everything was spotless too. The bathroom facilities were also top notch (particularly the shower with the big head that my wife couldn't work out how to operate!). The swimming pool was spot on as well.

If I were to criticise anything, it would be the slowness of service - both when ordering drinks on the patio before dinner and when in the splendid dining room, but then again we weren't in any great hurry! It does seem that there is too much reliance on the hard-working owners to do too much, or perhaps their attention to detail means that they simply don't trust their staff to deliver to their satisfaction?
